Pro: there is only a 30 minute lay over between landing at Gatwick and flying out to Scotland. This means NO checking in luggage. I *so* would not have been able to do that. Nope. And no, a later flight was not all that reasonable, b/c then the layover would have been about 8 hours. Yuck and bigger yuck.
